We arranged for a pair of Carbon Fibre Wheels to be loaned to Charlie Oakman at Fast Bikes magazine for his long-term test Yamaha 2017 YZF-R6.
Charlie weighed both sets of wheels (like-for-like with sprocket, spacers, bearings and tyre valves, but no discs, ABS rings or bolts) and below are the comparisons which show a very worthwhile weight saving of 4.7 kg in total, which is 39.5%
